Join us for an uplifting New Year's morning, where we come together both in-person and online.
Highlights:

8:00 - 8:45 am: Pranayama: Begin your day with a revitalizing Pranayama class.
9:00 - 9:45 am: Guided Practice: Immerse yourself in a practice led by Kathleen, tailored for all levels.
10:00 - 10:30 am: Chanting: Experience the transformative power of group chanting, creating an atmosphere of positivity and unity. See more about the chants we will include below.
10:30 - 11:00 am: Tea and Conversations: Wind down with tea and conversations, offering a space to contemplate the upcoming year.
The New Year signifies a powerful moment for renewal and personal growth. Take a pause to turn inward, recalibrate your nervous system, and ground yourself in the wisdom and strength that resides within.

Chanting Program:
Chanting is a form of vocalization that has been used in various religious and spiritual traditions worldwide as a means of prayer, meditation, or invoking a sense of sacredness. Chanting can have a calming effect on the mind, enhance concentration, and build up a vibrational quality in the body and mind. You’re welcome to listen or join in!
🪷Invocation to Patanjali & Guru :
Mantra: "Yogena cittasya padena vācāṁ, Malaṁ śarīrasya ca vaidyakena; Yo’pākarot taṁ pravaraṁ munīnāṁ, Patañjaliṁ prāñjalir ānato’smi"
Meaning: This mantra is an invocation to Sage Patanjali, who is considered the compiler of the Yoga Sutras. It is a gesture of respect and homage to the ancient sage.
🪷Guru Mantra:
Mantra: "Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu, Gurur Devo Maheshwara, Guru Sakshat Parabrahma, Tasmai Shri Guruve Namaha"
Meaning: This mantra pays homage to the guru, recognizing the teacher as the embodiment of the divine. It expresses gratitude and reverence for the guidance provided by the guru.

🪷Mantra of Peace: "Om Asato Ma Sadgamaya, Tamaso Ma Jyotir Gamaya, Mrityor Ma Amritam Gamaya"
Meaning: This mantra is a prayer for guidance, wisdom, and liberation. It is a wish to move from the unreal to the real, from darkness to light, and from mortality to immortality.
🪷Gāyatrī Mantra
Om bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ tat savitur vareṇyam bhargo devasya dhīmahi dhiyo yo naḥ prachodayāt
Meaning: Let us contemplate, meditate upon, that celestial splendor of the divine solar god (Sāvitrī), that he may inspire our vision and our prayers.
🪷Teacher Student Invocation
Om saha nāvavatu saha nau bhunaktu saha vīryam karavāvahai tejasvi nāvadhītamastu ma vidveṣāvahai Om śānti śānti śāntiḥ
Meaning: Om. May we, guru and disciple, be protected together. May we enjoy the fruits of our action together. May we achieve strength together. May our knowledge be full of light. May we never have enmity for one another. Om, peace, peace, peace.
