Why We Chant
Yoga is more than movement—it’s a practice of awareness and steadiness. Chanting helps us shift focus inward and honor the depth of yoga.
In Foundations classes, we chant Om to center the mind and connect with the breath.
In Intermediate classes, we chant the Invocation to Patañjali, recognizing yoga’s roots and its path toward clarity.
Chanting is of course optional.
