Artful Rest: Integrating Restorative Yoga and Expressive Art

Saturday, September 21st | 4:00 - 5:30pm | Iyengar Yoga Source

In collaboration with IYS community member Emily Natale, we present you with the opportunity to practice a 30-minute restorative session with Kathleen, followed by an expressive art experience with Emily.

In this expressive art experience, you'll delve into creating art for your mind, body, and spirit. This form of art is intuitive, allowing your inner intelligence to express itself in colorful ways. You will learn and experience two methods that enable art to act as a communicator for the mind-body connection. Engaging in art-making can reduce stress and foster your wellbeing. Remember, if you can draw a stick figure, you can create expressive art.
